Exactly 83 years ago of today, the 7th day of July, China launched the across-the-board Resistence-War against Jap, and finally won the war after eight years at the sacrifice of thousands of lives.  Today, over ten million young testees of China Mainland started to take part in the postponed GaoKao(the joint examination for college entrance), vying for the relatively limited slots toward further studies. 

There must be personal gain or loss for individuals; I am not that didactic but may I remind you that sometimes we must look the things from historical angle.  Without the seismic "incident" 83 years ago, you might not be able to have the opportunity to participate this test which you may think a time-consuming and torturing one.

Does the day have anything to do with Taiwan?  Certainly it does, no matter Cai administration would admit it or not.  Also from historical angle, dear islanders, Taiwan will return to China Mainland eventually.  The only question is when.
