Yesterday was the 70th anniversary of Navy Day, or the founding day of new Chinese navy.  President Xi hosted a naval parade on the sea in Qingdao, which consisted of many a type of Chinese advanced warships, including that formidable 055 destroyer of over 13,000 tons in displacement and nearly 200 meters in length.  O my goodness!  The showcase also invited the navies from several other countries, including Russia, Japan, Korea, and so on.  Please see the following report and the photo/video therein.  (Regretfully, it was misty on the sea yseterday, so the scene might fall short of your expectations.)

PS  I would like to emphasize again that a strong China Navy is built to protect Taiwan from falling prey to foreign imperialists, not a threat to the "national" security of Taiwan.
