I read subject famous novel written by Mr Qian Zhongsu many years ago.  ( Not that long ago; in fact, it was late 80s when the book was formally published in Taiwan.  I remember when I finished reading it, I passed it to my daughter, who was just a six-grader then.  Amazingly, she read it with great interest.  And later she told me when she majored English in college, a professor of comparative literature appointed the book as one of the readers, so she read it again.)
