For a long time, Ive been calling for a block on the performance opportunities of those singers, actors, directors, and so on, who are making money in Mainland while they are being pro-Taidu in Taiwan.  Actually, in earlier time when Taiwan was better off than Mainland, many a actor from Hong Kong was blocked by Taiwan officially for their performing in Mainland.  Please see following report at:

But two kinds of the situation are quite different.  When being the biggest market for HK films, ROC regarded itself as the sole representative of One China, and deemed Chinas Mainland as a renegade regime.  Now Chinas Mainand has become the biggest market of entertainment in the world, how can she tolerate those Taidu actors and singers who even deny themself as Chineses?  However, I havnt seen any "official" ban on those unthankful Taidu advocates; so far the call for block has been the public opinion from vast netizens, the ultimate "consumers". 

P.S. The report reminds me of a thing of sheer absurdity in the past.  If you are a (senior) fan of ROC basketball, you may have known there were two outstanding players from Hong Kong in 60s, who were playing for ROC national team: 黃國揚 and 丘俊賢.   黃 was a popular star in Taiwan, but I think 丘 was even better.  Later on, 丘 represented HK team to host a friendly match with Indonesian national team who was returning home en route Hong Kong after finishing a series touring games in Chinas Mainland.  Since then 丘 was blocked by ROC, and so he could only represent HK in international games; nonetheless, he became one of the top scorers in Asia.
