帶著學弟妹的祝福，滿滿的信心再出發，片片金光灑落在臉上，我們揮灑的不是汗水，而是熱血。

     今天早上一起床，我們期待的正是結束這十二天的單車環台之旅，殊不知等待著我們的是一座又一座的小山丘。上午的路程，上坡似有似無，下坡似遠似近。幾天下來累積的疲累打擊我們的體力，一次又一次的上坡摧毀著我們的信心。

     在中午的熾熱的太陽底下，我們吃力的踩著踏板騎過蜿蜒起伏的山路，直到翻過了最後一座陡坡，並緩緩地牽車進入康橋新竹校區。說時遲那時快，映入眼簾的是站在大太陽下、舉著旗子高聲歡呼的學弟學妹。那震耳欲聾的加油聲掩蓋了我們的疲累。那滿腔熱情的尖叫聲燃起了我們的動力。或許，就如兩位校長所說的，哪裡有康橋，那裡便是我們的家。

     走進建築物內，即便許多地方仍未建成，但風格與秀岡二川堂極相似的大庭浮出的是親切感。在兩位校長的致詞結束後，這些未來的小小勇士們給了我們一個意想不到的驚喜—水潤餅。在品嚐了學弟妹的心意後，我們原本筋疲力竭的雙腿又再次奔放出了活力，再次為了征服這次環台而用力的踩下踏板。

     在同學彼此的加油聲下我們全員抵達了最後的休息點，在歡呼的同時滑下了那座被我們征服的山。抵達飯店後簡單的盥洗後出去吃了一頓滿足的晚餐，將興奮化為動力，為明天最後的一點路程做好準備。

    The sunlight fell in golden flecks on our faces as we rode.

    From the moment we woke up today, we looked forward to the near-end the grueling twelve-day trip on the road. However, what we did not anticipate were the hills that rolled on and on. The ascending paths looked both drastically steep and level; the descending paths looked both close and far away. The strain and exhaustion accumulated in the past couple of days struck devastating blows to what remains of our strength; the constant climbing destroyed our confidence again and again.

    Under the scorching sun, we conquered endless uphills step by step, loop by loop. When we finally made the last steep climb uphill, the students of the Xinchu Kang Chiao Campus were standing on both sides of the road under the same sun, waving little flags and cheering for us. Their cheers refueled our confidence. Maybe it’s true what the two principals have said: where there is Kang Chiao, there is home.

     The Xinchu Campus, though still in construction, looks similar to the Xiugang Campus in every way: from the aisle to the courtyard, from the classrooms to the students’ uniforms. The Xinchu young scholars also gave us a special gift—the Xui-Jen Pie, attached with a hand-written note, encouraging us to keep going. Surprisingly, their present gave us the energy we needed to continue the journey and ride on.
