推自由軟體 - 討論

要推自由軟體，至少需要學校的*許多*電腦要安裝Openoffice等軟體，而且要有相關的規範、訓練及推廣課程。

理由：學校一再用微軟產品。學生卻用盜版，或不得不用盜版，因為學校的老師只用微軟產品，只接受微軟檔案。但是學校至少不該間接鼓勵盜版。如要推廣自由軟

體，並且減少學生用盜版，學校一定得減用微軟產品，並且增用自由軟體，盡量產出自由軟體檔案格式的檔案(像敎務資訊系統的點名成績單檔案)。老師也應接受

學生用OOo寫的作業電子檔。

要推自由軟體，有很多事可以做，也需要做。像是自由軟體之論述(http://www.gnu.org/philosophy/free-sw.html)

，就得合併軟體一起推廣。沒論述怎麼說服人。只談軟體功能，不能說服人，微軟軟體功能不差。

Yea, you're right. We have to do more to promote the idea of freedom of

software. It has to be accepted as a value in a free society where

software programs and sources are shared, modified, and improved by the

users who help one another.

This is precisely what we are doing now on our Moodle

elearning platform. I am training my assistants to learn how to use

free software and how to reciprocate good-will to other people. Thanks

for all you commitment to promoting OpenOffice. To me, it's a moster

software. As a unix guy, I prefer swiss-knife tools that are tiny, but

reliable and swift.
