Thanks to the movie ! I was really attracted by Julia’s simple charm and ardour for learning new things, her warm personality... too many interesting view points for audience to see this film! Merly Streep, the chameleon-like actress who portrayed Julia, really inspired me and multiplied my fanciness to her.
But what I really want to highlight in today’s note is not Julia Child portrayed by Merly Streep，but anther cute cooker—Julie Powell by Amy Adams. The story happened in the year 2002, Julie Powell was a young writer trapped in a rather pleasant job where she answers complaint phone, to enliven her dreary life, she wrote a blog to note her attempt about all 524 recipe in Julia Child’s book during a single year. Eventually Julie’s blog was highlighted in a story published in the New York Times, after which her project finally began to receive the attention of journalists and publishers. I should say that I was really amazed by her final success of becoming a cool writer, especially with the original blog-idea from her husband.
Yes! It all comes from a blog idea! So, why not begin a blog of English story? Set a deadline and hold on every day in Julie’s way!
After watching the movie, the similar idea flashed through my mind several times a day, and today, I want to make it happen! Why not?! It’s so funny and itching!
Dear you, whoever you are, I have a new blog in English today in blog.hjenglish.com. for the purpose of remain my keen scent for English in use. No deadline be set, but at least 4 notes updated every week in this fictitious notebook. I don’t really like to push myself, but a less stern goal would be more workable.
