My favorite city in Taiwan is Taipei, it locates in northern Taiwan , and it is the capital city , Furthermore , it's the political and economical central of Taiwan. I have been living in here more than 20 years since I was 4 years old.

Taipei is a cosmopolitan , it is so famous because it is the first priority if the government plan to build the infrastructure ,the most famous example is MRT , so the persons who live in other cities , they always feel so interested because they can see so many novel things in here.

Again , there are so many interesting going on in here : book fairs, computer exhibitions , car shows , fashion shows , oh , just 3 months ago, the special exhibit of mammoth showed in Chaing Kai-Shek momorial hall , it means that only Taipei's inhabitants enjoy the latest show.

Furthermore , we cannot forget the delicious food in Taipei. You can eat any taste you want , despite the traditional dishes , you can eat exotic cuisine like Italy , Japanese , Korean etc.

Well , in the word , I wish I could live in here forever.

Do you prefer to live in a city ?

Yes , I am a city dweller. I prefer to live in a city, because there are more jobs available and it's more convenient . I can eat or buy anything anywhere anytime . I hate to spend too much time just to buy or eat . another reason I like to live city because city is more excite , I don't like too quite environment.

How would you compare your hometown with your favorite city ?

As far as weather is concerned , Kaoshuing is more hatter than Taipei , I don't like to live in a very hot environment. Taipei is the political and business center of Taiwan , the foreign companies come to here to build the branches , Taipei is the first priority they choose, so there are more job opening in here . On the other hand , Taipei is more industrialized and commercialized , the people are more indifferent , we always don't know who are our neighbors.

How are the advantages and disadvantages of living in a city ?

Let me talk about the advantages first . First , We can eat very easily . There are various restaurants in city, whatever the expensive ones , snack shops or the night club , anytime you can find the ones you want. Second , We can go shopping very conveniently , anytime you want to buy anything , you just go down to the convenient store , like 7-11 or family , you can buy most merchandises from there . Last but not list , most cities have the perfect public transport system. For example , MRT and buses cooperate closely , we can go anywhere just we want , and we can use very reasonable price to take , we cannot enjoy if we do not live in cities.

But there are several disadvantages if live in cities . First , I think we do not have a good living quality , we have to face the crowed of people and terrible heavy traffic , and we just have very small living space. The most serious problem is the social security , There are much more social affairs occurring in cities.

What functions or services do you think a city or town should provide?

The first function I think a city have to provide is the convenient life-style , so first , we need the profect transport system, which not only just bring the inhabitians to anywhere very convenient , it can make bussiness booming princely . Furthermore , I think a city have to build sufficient beautiful parks ,  which have  boom,big trees and broad spaces , the citizn go to there to do exercise or just stroll ; children can run or junk freely. Last but not least , the people live in city almost live more nurvious , so I think a city has to provide like concerts , art exhibitions , some famous competi ions even some speeches , which let people spend their sparetime  and relex their body and mind.

What changes have taken place recently in this city ?

As Well , I think it becomes better . First , there are more parks throughtout this area , there are green grounds and trees , we can stroll and chat about something with our friends ; even some ones provide simple exereice machines , we can use them . Another change I like to mention is the traffic improving . After the MRT begam to operate , we can use less time and have more confortable environment . Furthermore , We rarely meet the traffic jams. Last but not least , there are many bicycle privite lames beside the rivers , it means that Taipei  trends a well-off city , because it respresents that people have time and money to enjoy their sparetime.

As It's great , because these changes mean Taipei is improving, and our living environment  become more beautiful and our living style beome more convenient . We do not need go oversea to enjoy these , they are parts of our life.
