B A L L     O F    S T R IN G
 
 
                                                     I don’t like to see
 
                                        A tangled ball of string
 
                                          And hope it does not
 
                                            Represent my mind
 
 
                                       Although it does present
 
                                       A wonderful opportunity
 
                                       For a great achievement
 
                                              To untangle it.
 
                
                                 A Friend gave me a certain jar
 
                                                In  it is a ball
 
                                        Of pretty yellow string
 
                                              No tangles but
 
                                               Smooth circles
 
                                               No beginnings
 
                                                   No ends.
 
                                            
                                                   I wonder
 
                                       Is my friend aware that
 
                                        It is a beautiful symbol
 
                                           Of True Friendship
