The 4th session (or the final session) of the Communication and Leadership Advancement Program (CLAP) commenced on May 26, 2010, at the beautiful campus of the Ansan English Village, Ansan, South Korea. Thirty-three selected leaders from all CHUM, KUC, JUC, and MMF have finally come to their last stage of their two years of intensive training in the use of English and leadership education.
By the grace of God, every single one of the nine UT participants have obtained their visas—a miracle in itself! This last session will feature speeches focused on social issues where speakers will be captured on video so they can evaluate their own performance besides being assessed by a teacher and their own fellow classmates. The other components of CLAP such as English language classes, leadership sessions and an outreach activity remain the same.
Praying together, learning together, eating together and exercising together have bonded the participants who now embrace each other as close friends. Only Heaven knows what the full benefits of CLAP will hold for the future leadership of NSD!
