1. mutton hotpot (羊肉爐):

In winter, having friends to a mutton hotpot restaurant is a treat. The tender(1) mutton scatters all over the soup which is just being stewed(2) until the fat and the greatest tenderness being achieved. The golden-brown soup just makes me drooling(3)

在冬天,和朋友一起去吃羊肉爐真是一種享受。嫩嫩(1)的羊肉分散在湯裡,被燉煮(2)到裡面的油脂和軟嫩的程度被亨煮到最佳的時候。那金棕色的湯底,讓我垂涎欲滴(3)

2. ginger duck soup (薑母鴨):

Ginger duck soup is well-nourished(1) and infused(2) with ginger(3) and rice wine(4) flavor that heats up(5) our body. It is a great coldness beater. The dish has become strongly associated with Taiwan’s culture. The pungent(6) rice wine broth(7) mixed with the meat left on the bone makes the dish one of a kind! 

(薑母鴨在烹煮時需要被好好的照料(1),其滋味融合(2)薑(3)米酒(4),讓我們的身體熱了起來(5)。是一個非常好的對抗寒冬的美食。薑母鴨在台灣已經強烈地和台灣的文化強力結合。撲鼻而來的強烈(6)米酒湯頭(7),搭配鴨骨上的鴨肉,讓此美食獨一無二,無可媲美!)

3. shacha beef hotpot (沙茶牛肉鍋):

Are you a shacha sauce(1) fan, like me? Shacha sauce is mainly made by deep-fried(2) peanuts and various species, and special compound aroma(3) such as garlic(4), onion(5), and peanuts(6). The slightly sweet and spicy  flavor unites friends or family again and again.

(你/妳也和我一樣喜歡沙茶(1)迷嗎?沙茶醬主要是由油炸(2)過的花生,有需多不同的花生種類,以及其綜合的香味(3)結合了,大蒜(4)洋蔥(5)以及花生(6)的滋味。其微甜帶辣的味道讓朋友彭以及家人們一次又一次的相聚,就是為了這一鍋!)

4. meat with pickled cabbage hotpot (酸菜白肉鍋):

Simmer the adjustable amount of pickled cabbage(1) to its best sourness! Personally, I prefer the sourish(2) flavor, and the pork slices is indispensable(3)! But, sadly, happiness can never last long! It is at least once in a wintertime(4)!

(燉煮可依個人喜好的酸度搭配不同量的酸菜(1)。我個人喜歡微酸的(2),豬肉片更是不可缺少的(3)!但是,可惜的是,快樂的時光總是過得特別快!冬天時,至少要吃一次的(4)美食壓!)

5. Sukiyaki (壽喜燒):

The sweet(1) and salty(2) soy sauce makes me appetizing(3). It is my favorite type of hotpot. Usually, the dining vibe(4) is relaxing and the decor(5) of the restaurant is a plus. I highly recommend(6) this sweetened soy sauce hotpot.

(甜(1)鹹(2)甜鹹的醬汁讓我胃口大開(3)。這是我最喜歡的火鍋種類。通常,用餐的氣氛(4)是非常悠閒的,餐廳的布置(5)也是一大加分。我相當推薦(6)此種甜鹹醬汁的火鍋。)

6. oden(關東煮):

Oden(1) has become one of the most common street food(2) in Taiwan. Many different varieties are sold, and it is considered a winter food, but some carts(3) and restaurants(4) make it a year-round business, and the price is as cheap as coins.

(關東煮(1)已經成為台灣最普遍的街頭小吃(2)之一。很多不同種類的關東煮都可以被買到,它被認為是一種冬天的食物,但是有些攤車(3)或是餐廳(4)是整年都有在販售的喔,價格也是銅板價格。)
