等了十年的提拉米蘇

因為Min來西雅圖training的關係,我們到Sam家裡小聚。我很迫不及待跟大家分享烘焙心得,帶了macarons, biscotti, and Paris Brest。因為看到Parisian hot chocolate的食譜,手癢就當下煮了一大鍋跟大家來喝個high tea(下午茶) 。這種熱巧克力是用苦甜巧克力作成的,很濃很純很像在喝溶化的巧克力。搭配著macarons and biscotti真是人生一大享受啊!看似少少的茶點,一吃完竟然太撐,火鍋吃不了多少。Min在一旁哇哇叫準備很久的火鍋都吃不完。下次我會收斂一點啦! 不過這麼elegant的下午茶不是哪裡都有的喔!

重頭戲來了! 跟Min認識也有十年了。十年來他吃我的手工點心和料理也有幾卡車了吧!半年前她跟我學了兩樣點心tiramisu和cream brulee,今天竟然用上了! 因為本週是我的生日,Min偷偷做了提拉米蘇幫我提前慶生讓我驚喜。我喜歡烤蛋糕幫別人慶生,自己生日卻不喜歡搞熱鬧。那種大家幫我唱歌的場面,真讓我很不好意思耶! 蛋糕照片要好好保存起來,這個算是十年友誼的紀念品吧! 下一個蛋糕不會還要等十年吧! 不管怎樣,真是感動啊!

當我跟大家介紹我新作Paris Brest發生了一些笑話。
I explained to everyone that Paris Brest is a wheel shaped puff created by some pastry chef who was inspired by bikers passing his bakery during Paris Brest Paris, the most famous and popular annual bike race, back in 1891. As soon as I mentioned "Paris Brest", everyone started making fun of it and would like to have a piece of "Paris breast". Actually, if you search "Paris Brest" on Yahoo, it'll ask you if you meant "Paris breast" Oh well, it’s one delicious piece of "brest"
