喜歡聽Tori Amos約始於十年前，雖說我只有她三張專輯，一張是Under the Pink，一張Little Earthquakes，另外就是我特別愛聽的Boys for Pele火山女神的男孩那張專輯。

封面是她在門廊上的一張搖椅上翹著一條腿。

曲風時而安靜，時而瘋狂，狂時令人感到失去控制的邊緣，靜時令人不安。

歌詞看似普通實則怪異，低吟著性、女性意識、私人受創的記憶、流產的悲痛等等，一向是意會重於言傳。

另外是不按牌理出牌的咬字有點讓人上癮。

無意間聽到她最近的專輯American Doll Posse，有一首Almost Rosey，慣用的鋼琴，曲調蠻甜美的，但歌詞是不是也一樣甜美呢？

無論是或否，讓這個習於自欺的我戴上這付玫瑰色的眼鏡來看世界吧。

戴上之後，感覺就會好多了。

這會兒就來聽聽這首Almost Rosey，video裡面說的Isabel，是這張專輯裡創造的角色之一。
