Throwing a shrill voice into the sky, sounding like a frightened young girl

Gold-needles-like sparks scatter all directions in the night sky

Then putting in order flowers in bloom

Like yellow chrysanthemum, sunflower,cockscomb, or Christmas blossom

Blazing with color, sparkling and changing irregularly

Accompanying the sound of gongs and drums

To present a scene of happiness and prosperity

少女受驚嚇時的尖叫直拋入夜空

在夜空濺起了許多四散而出的金針

排列成一朵朵盛開著的

黃菊、向日葵、雞冠花或聖誕紅

繽紛燦明，不斷地閃爍，變幻

蓬起一片繁榮和歡樂的景象

響一陣鑼鼓的鼕鎗鼕鎗……
