Carrying my daughter’s son in my arms
People all say
We two are as alike as two peas
Two overlapping images

Once when I carried my daughter in my arms
People also said
The father and the daughter are as alike as two peas
Two overlapping images

Once when I was carried by my parents in their arms
People also said
The two generations are as alike as two peas
Two overlapping images

It is quite paradoxical
Everybody has ever been carried by ancestors and has carried children and grand children
And they are all as alike as two or more peas
Two or more overlapping images

No matter carried by ancestors or carry children and grand children
Of course, people all say
The carriers and carried are as alike as two or more peas
Two or more overlapping images

From generation to generation, from age to age
They are all as alike as two or more peas
Of course, the postures of carriage must be also as alike as two or more peas
Two or more overlapping upon overlapping images

抱著外孫

人家都說

祖孫兩人長得一模一樣

是重疊的影像

曾經抱著女兒

人家也都說

父女兩人長得一模一樣

是重疊的影像

曾經被父母抱著

人家也一樣說

兩代人長得一模一樣

是重疊的影像

這是個很吊詭的遊戲

每個人都被先祖抱過也都抱過子孫

他們長得都一模一樣

是重疊的影像

不管被先祖抱著還是抱著子孫

當然，人家也都說

抱者和被抱者長得一模一樣

是重疊的影像

世世代代，祖祖輩輩

長的都一模一樣

當然，抱的姿態肯定也都一模一樣

是重疊又重疊的重疊的影像
