• 6 Ways to Lose a Gal

This is an entry dedicated to guys who would like to lose a girl but still stay friends with her. 

How do you make a girl lose interest in you without hurting her feelings?? Haha~ There are many ways~ The key is to let her realise on her own how unsuitable you are for her. That way, you remain the Mr Nice Guy, get to keep the friendship, and the pleasant gal can move on to someone else. 

Dying to know how?? Let me teach you now:

#1 Make Differences Salient

This is especially helpful when you can establish that the differences stem from deep seated values. Otherwise, family backgrounds, preferences, goals in life, choice of activities etc are good areas to start. People like birds, like to flock together with similar beings. It is natural that we are attracted to people who share similarities with us. Turn it the other way round and you get the desired opposite effect! 

But then again, there are those who believe in the saying "Opposites Attract". Fret not, there are many methods to come.

#2 "Changing Temperatures"

忽冷忽热~ Being especially nice to her one moment and then treat her like she's bothering you the next. Or keep seeing her one moment and than totally avoid her the next. Such sporadic changes in temperatures will sure be too much for any decent girl to handle.

#3 Anterograde Amnesia

Even if you are damn smart or damn rich, having a memory span of 2 goldfish combined is a sure turn-off. Treat each date or outing (depending on how you want to call it since you are not exactly interested in her) like it is the first time. Forget or purposely ignore all the routines that have been accumulated over the past few dates. Do not remember the topics you two have discussed and do not remember what she has said before, especially things about herself. Best still, contradict yourself and claim that you have said it this way before. She may keep silent but don't worry, she remembers and she will notice the contradiction. 

Girls are more sensitive than guys, and though there are quite a number of blur gals out there, the female species are still more attentive than our fellow blockheads (oops) Anyway, to further drive home the point that you have no memory space for her, do not remember where she stays or how to get to her place~ Soon she will lose her patience with you and move on =>

#4 Failure to Pay Attention to Her

Every girl, and I do mean even the most tomboyish, will make a special effort to make herself appear better for a date. Unless of course it is a forced date whereby her goal is to make herself as unattractive as possible. For some gals, even if they are not interested in you, they will still make the special effort to dress up for the sake of herself or any other "prospects" on the streets~ Haha~

Anyway, this is a very small tactic but continuous usage will prove to be useful. Basically do not notice the special effort she puts in to her hair, her dress, her accessories, her etc.... She might have specially coordinated her style and look for each date, but your continuous indifference will slowly discourage her and allow her to realise on her own that her beauty and charm perhaps would be more suited for a more deserving guy, who is not you!

#5 No Communication

In this day and age, SMS and MSN are as common and as much neccesities as sanitary pads. Communication is the key to any successful relationship (trust me, I'm a communications student~ Muahaha!!!) So, Don't SMS or MSN her. 

#6 Affirmation

Over a relatively short span of time, the gal will come to realise that you are not the guy for her. The lesser self-esteemed might take it a little more harshly and feel that you are not interested in her (some might get a little hysterical but they are stupid so dun bother), but she will get over it. Nevertheless, any intelligent gal will recognize that there will be no substantial returns from her continued investment in you.

But suppose you are such a nice guy and she decides to give you and herself another chance?
Not to worry, just affirm all of the above and she will be looking elsewhere for someone who suits her better =D

And you don't have to worry about losing a friend because she has made the decision on her own. But should you change your mind about your desired status with her, you would have to start getting her interested in you all over again. And that might be a little more tedious this time round. Afterall, a gal who knows what she wants and who deserves her better will not be left alone for very long =>
