| Niuniu, I know you kind of sad about Lene's families will leave tomorrow. It would be "only" three years, then they will come back from Austria. It is really hard to say good bye to them even we know they will come back someday. I feel Lene and Sidney are very sad, too. They are very good kids that I love so much. Lene's families are always good to us, I appreciate it very much. Even moving to this house, they help us a lot. And you and your sister really learnt something from them and had good time with them. You know I never asked anybody's help unless someone asked me if I need any help first. Lene's parents are very thoughtful, they always know what and when I need a hand in time. I am almost fifty years old, how many wonderful friends I have in my life? Let me tell you the truth, not many. I met so many "great" people, but I could not make friends with them. Friends, it is very interesting relationship with us. Sometimes, we are closer with friends than families, (well, of course, you will go back with your families finally. ) Sometimes, you feel that friends could totally understand what you think but not your families. And sometimes, a great help from friends not from families...... One of my teacher told me before, she said that you are rich because of having lots of great friends; friends is one of your great asset....like these good words for friends value. Even the Buddism teaching, it states, bad karma won't lead you to the death, but bad friends. It is true, you need to stay away from someone who meant to you, hurt you....There are lots of great people in the world, you do not need to cry for losting a "friend" like that. But we need to take care our good friends, you know how many years I knew Huei Mommy? Thirty years!!! That is 3/4 of my life, she really helps me a lot, she is a good friend in deed, by the way, I am her good friend, too. We encourage each other for long long time, life is very tough for me, but I always feel much better after taking her opinions or even talking with her for anything trifle. I am very lucky having such good friend. I hope one day, you will meet some great people, and you really know the friends meaning. I am going to miss Lene's families, couples of hours, they will go to another country. But friends are friends, I won't believe the long distance will end our friendship. I know we will meet again, and in the future, when we meet again, every kids grow up, and you will have new topics to chat with. Love~ mom |
