這樣的謝雪紅(本名謝阿女) 你看到了什麽？狂熱的共產黨員？

前言：

雖然我不是李昂的忠實粉絲， 但是她的一系列著作我幾乎都讀過了。前年囘台，我一口氣買了她的兩本書：《自傳 の小說》和《花間迷情》。在回美國的飛機上，我開始閲讀《自傳 の小說》，結果非常失望，深深覺得李昂在《殺夫》之後，這幾年來在寫作技巧與故事佈局上好像沒有多少長進，似乎仍沉溺于暴力性愛的描寫。回家後我把這兩本書打進冷宮，直到今年暑假纔又把《自傳 の小說》拿出來，我耐著性子把《自傳 の小說》分成幾次讀完。另一本以蕾絲邊（lesbian)爲主題的小説《花間迷情》則根本看不下去 ，比起後進作家杜修蘭寫的，同是以蕾絲邊為主題的小説《逆女》，老前輩李昂真的是該加油了。

下面這篇拙作純粹是我個人對李昂這本書寫作技巧及情節佈局的粗淺看法，故事裏面複雜的政治社會歷史背景則不在本文討論範圍。這是我第一次以英文評論中文書籍，技巧的不成熟，尚請各位賢達指正。

I have just finished reading 李昂’s 《自傳 の小說》, which I got in Taipei two years ago. Even I have read almost all Ms. Lee's writings, I would not say that I am a big fan of her. Yet, I would still think that her《殺夫》is one of my favorites. 

Ms. Lee is a famous feminist as well as an outstanding writer in Taiwan. She is pretty good at poking into the very dark side of human nature. But for some reason, I wonder if Ms. Lee has some sort of sex phobia or has never experienced any good relation. All she has about 謝雪紅 and her lovers in 《自傳 の小說》is the excessively colloquial descriptions of private parts of man and woman. I do see the flames sparkled between the two lovers sometimes；but really can not detect the warmth, which is supposed to exist between them, throughout the book.

Personally, I believe lovemaking is one of the most beautiful things that can happen to a man and a woman who are in love with each other. I am also convinced that the nature of beautiful lovemaking is the mixture of violence and tenderness, the combination of passion and power that fabricates the beauty of a true love story. Nonetheless, I can barely see passion, tenderness, or beauty in this book. The way Ms. Lee presents 謝雪紅’s love affairs is very raw, very rough and colloquial that it disgusts me. And that makes me wonder if the author knows very little about flirting, foreplay, or even romance.

Ms. Lee uses《謝雪紅評傳》as the backbone for this book. However, as the story goes, 謝雪紅's characters keep remaining ambiguous and confusing. Was 謝雪紅 really a political fanatic, a loyal communist or simply an aggressive and over-sexed woman who successfully used those men, who were after her charm and sexuality, to reach her goals? I wonder the author might have got lost in this regard while trying to cover too many stories in this book.
