Dear Peter,

Hello! How are you? I'm back at school now but I had a very interesting summer.

During the school holidays, I worked at a bakery called Barney's Bakery, which sells all sorts of delicious baked foods. The shop was small but bright, and it was full of see-through containers with food inside. The sweet scent of bread cakes that filled the air every day smelt amazing!

All of my colleagues were friendly and kind. However, they were very busy and often had to rush around to serve the customers. There was only one person that I didn't like - my boss. She always marched about and shouted loudly at everyone. She was also very large and tall, so we all found her quite scary.

My main roles were to clean the counters, refill the food containers and answer the phone. It was fun because I learnt a lot and met a lot and met a lot of new people, but it was also very tiring work!
