This morning the area where we live in encountered an outage.  The power failure lasted for three hours exactly from nine to twelve.  During the period, we were facing a situation of no internet, no meal (We use electrical stove), no going outside (Because my car is locked in garage.), no nothing.

Several days ago, when there was a severe rain took place in Bay Area, an outage happened to my daughters. Outage should not happen, even occasionally, in a developed country like the U.S., particularly in a place like Bay Area, where many "pillars of state" are located there.  For example, the headquarter of CISCO is just in 15-minutes’ drive from my place, and Google headquarter is in the town where my daughter’s home is.  

Is the continuous outage a foreboding of something? 

PS I noticed that some Mainland netizens have already suggested PLA first destroy the power plants in Taiwan for twelve hours when that day comes, and they believe by the time people of Taiwan will surrender for sure, no extra effort needed.
