The TV station will be shut down in the midnight today.  DPP administration seems hell-bent on its "resolve" regardless the deluge of vitriol from scholars, experts, and even polls.  Let us sing the elegy for the death of free speech tonight to Taiwan.

But why does AIT still keep silent for such a farce?  Arent you the real power behind the throne in Taiwan?  Isnt  freedom of speech the highest norm of democracy, the foundation of America and the so-called universal value?  Does Donald Trump dare close CNN, a TV station bitterly opposes him all the time?
