Now the territory dispute between China and India over the borders along  Xizang has rekindled.  Some soldiers of either side were injured and some fatalites were reported through hand-to-hand fights, not arms.  You know, in 1962, PLA won a walkaway by trouncing Indian troops in the highly controversial area demarcated by that notorious McMahon Line.  But how and when did the Line stem from.  Please see the following reportage.  (You can also refer to Wiki, English version.)

PS When the battle of 1962 took place, I was just a high school student, watching closely the news concerning the battle everyday.  Well, then Chiang regime, out of nationalism, at least reported the conflict faithfully and impartially.
