Subject is one of Dr. Sun Yatsen's doctrines in his "Three Principles of People" that students of my age must learn in their senior year of high school and in freshman year of college.  In that time KMT administration under Chiang did follow Dr. Sun's teachings and carried out land reform in Taiwan, and so laid the foundation for the coming economy booming of Taiwan.  But that was not good enough.
