對稱孿生子悖論

要消除孿生子思想實驗中加減速運動所帶來的複雜性和困擾,我們只須要假設兩個完全對稱運動的參考系。簡化問題之後,結果顯示悖論成立。

重新設定孿生子悖論

假設(1)有兩艘太空船並排停止在地球上,兩個孿生子各進入一艘。(2)兩艘飛船同時朝相反方向飛離地球。(3)從一個地球上的觀察者看來,兩艘飛船進行完全相同的加速、等速、減速以及完全相同時間的運動--除了方向相反--,並最終同時返回地球原處。(4) 兩個孿生子重逢來判別誰比較年輕。

分析

由於完全對稱性,任何相對論所推導的時間延遲效應必然同樣適用於兩個孿生子。如果第一個孿生子見到第二個孿生子比較年輕,那麼第二個孿生子也必然見到第一個孿生子比較年輕,而這導致矛盾。所以愛因斯坦的相對論必然錯誤。

很顯然,相對論的錯誤來自於違反了對稱性原理。

The Symmetric Twin Paradox

A simple way to rule out the complication and confusion by the acceleration and deceleration processes of the spaceship is to re-store the symmetry of the two reference frames by assuming exactly the same movements between them. The paradox must hold.

Twin Paradox Restated

Assume that (1) there are two spaceships stationed on earth side by side when two twins enter each spaceship, (2) the two spaceships then fly away from the earth at opposite direction, (3) from the perspective of an observer on earth the two spaceships fly at the same constant speed after finishing their acceleration stage after the same (earth) time duration until they both return after another same (earth) time duration, (4) the two spaceships through symmetric movements return and land on earth side by side at the same (earth) time due to symmetry of all their movements, (5) the twins meet each other to tell who is older.

Analysis

Because of the symmetry whatever aging effects in one twin from the other’s perspective must be the same in the other twin from the first’s perspective, regardless of whether those effects are from acceleration and deceleration or from the relative speed of the two spaceships. As a result, when the twins meet each one’s perspective of the other’s age must be the same. The symmetry leads to a contradiction and Einstein’s theory cannot be correct.

The flaw in Einstein’s theory arises from its violation of the principle of symmetry.
