中選取的植物看似為在戶外攀附樹幹生長成熟的黃金葛（學名：Epipremnum aureum）。辨識特徵巨大葉片：一般室內種植的黃金葛葉片較小，但當它們有垂直樹幹支撐並向上攀爬時，葉片會變得非常巨大，甚至出現裂葉或開孔。

斑葉與黃斑：葉面帶有明亮的黃色斑紋，在陽光下十分顯眼。

發達氣根：莖部長出粗壯的氣生根，緊緊纏繞並固定在樹皮上。

常見誤認在台灣的園藝社團中，這種野外巨大化的黃金葛常被週末出遊的民眾誤認為是珍貴的斑葉龜背芋或蔓綠絨，因此也被趣味地暱稱為「星期一植物」。

我一直以為是姑婆芋，沒想到是黃金葛。

都會區空間有限，在自然環境下，動植物的生命有無限可能。
