今天早上八點多，一群遊客從嘉義大埔出發，去曾文水庫遊湖，突然發現水中有一個動物的頭冒岀來，游泳的速度很快，但看不出來是什麼？

咦？在水面上動的那個是甚麼？難道是水怪？

今晨，曾文水庫的溫度極低，但牠在湖中依然游了數百公尺，一直等牠上岸，才發現竟是國寶級動物台灣長鬃山羊。

台灣長鬃山羊，是台灣特有種動物，又稱台灣野山羊或台灣羚羊，是台灣唯一的野生牛科動物。從低海拔300公尺的小山，一直到玉山南峰、雪山圈谷等地，都有牠門的足跡。

除了這次在曾文水庫，過去也曾在日月潭目擊台灣長鬃山羊在湖面上游泳。
