白腰鵲鶋

白腰鵲鴝早年作為寵物鳥引入臺灣，在野外最早的紀錄為1994年，從下圖白腰鵲鴝歷年分布，可見2002年以前僅有零星分布，2003-2012年間分佈明顯擴散，原因是2005年時雲林族群數量大幅增加，在2013-2022年間則是於全臺廣泛分佈，僅剩花東到恆春的分佈較零星。

清亮婉轉的鳴唱聲，輕快敏捷的身影，長尾羽、黃腹部、白腰斑，這是傳說被列為中國四大鳴禽之一的白腰鵲鴝，又叫做長尾四喜，主要分布在中國與東南亞，在台灣的鳥市場裡，是很受歡迎的鳥種，價格從兩三千塊到上萬元都有。如今，由於走私、業者販賣管理不當、飼主照顧不慎或是棄養，在台灣的低海拔森林，逸逃到野外的白腰鵲鴝，已經成功落腳…

來自高雄鳥會的研究人員，帶著簡單的工具，透過「playback」播放鳥音的方式，調查白腰鵲鴝在柴山的分布情形。他們發現，白腰鵲鴝不但適應良好，整個族群還有增加的趨勢。除了柴山，在南投、雲林、嘉義、台南等縣市，都有白腰鵲鴝的繁殖記錄。根據調查，早在1988年，研究人員就在野外發現白腰鵲鴝，牠們在台灣山林，生活了超過二十年。

白腰鵲鴝喜歡低海拔闊葉林的環境，目前的分布範圍，不超過海拔400公尺，牠們個頭嬌小卻生性強悍，除了捕食昆蟲，連青蛙和蜥蜴都是牠們的菜單。三到八月是白腰鵲鴝的繁殖季，牠們喜歡利用竹筒或樹洞築巢，每一窩可以產下三到五顆蛋，和台灣原生的棕面鶯、頭烏線或黃嘴角鴞巢位相同，再加上牠們捕食的對象範圍廣泛，與原生物種產生排擠效應，威脅生態平衡，為了彌補這個人為造成的錯誤，農委會特生中心從去年開始，利用戰鬥籠或是霧網的方式，展開移除工作。

對白腰鵲鴝來說，牠們想好好活下去，在台灣，這個心願卻是種奢望。對研究人員來說，善後的移除計畫，成本高昂。從調查、誘捕到人道處理，層層關卡耗費人力與經費，他們希望能有更好的方式，來處理這個問題。

外來鳥種如果不是來自疫區或是保育類，依然能合法進口，再加上走私這個地下管道，政府左手核准進口，右手花錢收拾善後，遲遲沒有更嚴謹的把關機制。

不同籠子裡，鎖著相同渴望自由的心。生命不再是自然禮讚，而成為人類的棋子。外來鳥入侵，讓相關單位疲於奔命，也讓社會付出高額成本，要解決問題，除了後端持續進行移除，前端的政府管理，鳥市場運作和飼主的態度，都還需要加把勁，否則即使投入再多資源，外來鳥入侵，依然會是個難解的習題。
