彩虹橋 ~軼名


This is a bridge connecting heavn and earth.
有一座橋連接天堂與人間，
It is called the Rainbow Bridge because of it's many colors.
因為它繽紛的色彩，於是被稱做「彩虹橋」。

Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge there is a land of meadows,
hills and valleys with lush green grass.
就在彩虹橋這端有個地方，有著一大片草原，以及長滿茂盛綠草的丘陵和山谷。

When a beloved pet dies, the pet goes to this place.
當一隻被人所愛的寵物死後，就會來到這個地方。

There is alawys food and water and warm spring weather.
這裡有充足的食物、水和溫暖的春天。

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor:
those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again,
just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
隨著時間慢慢流逝，當我們只能在夢中回憶他們的同時，
那些受了傷或殘廢的動物，會再變得完整和強壯。

They play all day with each other.
他們整天陪伴著彼此遊戲玩耍。

The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing:
they miss someone very special to them, who had left them behind.
這些動物們過著快樂而滿足的生活，只有一件小事除外：
他們思念著對他們來說非常特別的某個人，而那人必須遺忘他們。

They all run and play together,
but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance.
他們總是在一起奔跑玩耍，
但是有一天，他們的其中一個會忽然停下遊戲，

The bright eyes are intent; the eager body quivers.
Suddenly he begins to break away from the group,
flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
明亮的眼睛專注地注視著遠方，身體熱切地顫抖著，
然後突然從玩伴群中跑開，
雙腿載著他飛奔過綠草地，越跑越快，越跑越快。

You have been seen,
and when you and your special friend finally meet,
you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again.

當你和你特別的朋友相遇，你們緊緊抱在一起，
沉浸在重逢的喜悅中，再也不會分開。

The happy kisses rain upon your face;
your hands again caress the beloved head,
and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet,

你的手再次撫摸著他可愛的小腦袋，
你再度深深的注視著他忠實的雙眼，

so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together, never again to be separated.
然後，你們一起跨越彩虹橋，永遠永遠不再分開。

 傳說中有一座橋連接天與地， 叫做『彩虹橋』
因為它有著繽紛的色彩， 橋這一端。
是綿延的草原，山丘與河谷，一片綠草如茵。
每當心愛的寵物死後， 牠就會去那個地方。
那裡永遠都有食物、水和溫暖的春天。
老而溺弱的動物再度年輕，殘廢的再度健全。
整日一起玩耍，牠們只缺少一樣東西。
少了在地上愛牠們的特別的人。
所以牠們每天玩、每天奔跑
直到有一天，其中一隻， 突然停止玩耍
抬頭看！鼻子掀動，耳朵豎直，眼睛睜大！
突然從動物群中跑開！ 牠看見了你！
當你和你特別的朋友在相遇
你將牠抱在懷中， 你的臉被親了又親
你在一次的凝視， 信賴你的那一對眼睛。
然後你們就可以一起走過彩虹橋，永不在分離
