附記：這是一首有趣的歌曲，描寫一位學生墜入情網時的心情，無心於課業，對所有的功課都不感興趣，但是若是能贏得女孩的愛，就會努力讀書成為資優生。此曲發表於1950年代，那時還沒有計算機或電腦，工程師計算是使用計算尺(slide rule)，現在都不知此為何物。 此曲由Sam Cooke唱紅，也收錄在電影「證人」（The Witness)一片中當配樂。 中文由曾渙釗試譯。(喜愛的老歌）2013/02/17 大年初八
