This was a title of a article from San Francisco Chronicles - "Choosing a Christmas tree can be an ethical quagmire for environmentalists" I am not sure how many environmentalist I offended on the Christmas article. For people like me, we just follow what people we know do in such holiday season. It is hard to even have second thought about what should be done and what should not be done in this new country. Before, I always think I don't have common sense in various of situation. Recently, I realized it is actually how you view things. Lots of people told me that don't be so hard to myself. There must be reasons. This article talked about a subject that really can explain some very basic culture/philosophical conflicts in US. I just started to think about this whole thing about Christmas tree. To think more about it, isn't it true for many other things happen around us? People are entitled to have their own opinions, even a extremely biased one. I enjoy American's journalist because they do lots of critics but not too judgemental. I really admire the way a newspaper does not force your action by bringing up a "right" way of doing things or doing things in the right way.
