There must be some reason for some thing to happen. The cause might be random, while it could be recurrent just as well.
So the first thing for low yield is to find out the cause. If low yield product came from a well-tuned manufacturing process, it is fairly likely something had gone wrong unexpectedly. As for product made during manufacturing process troubleshooting stage, unless all variables were properly controlled, there is very little chance the true cause can be identified. This is why well planned and documented development project is so important for any product development. And this is why unless Chinese companies change their methodology, they will eventually drive those well-disciplined western companies which they are copying from into extinction. At that satge, there won't be any solid foundation for those copy cats to build their ad hoc variants. By the way, Paua asked me to write something about 沸 of 日本刀. Since I was in the philosophical mode and short of time, I attached pictures of 沸 with this. |
