  許久不見，值此疫情期間大夥悶待家裡，都做何消遣？

國人都很關心新冠肺炎在全世界橫行亂闖災情發展,相信大家感觸良多,可謂計畫趕不上變化,心情五味雜陳。

  在4月湧入海歸國人和清明連假,全國防疫工作曾一度緊繃,造成醫護人員工作量增加。但台灣人民發揮高度團結，高等智慧，我們確幸艱苦的守住了健康家園。 近日由於國軍軍艦敦睦出訪，似乎造成全國人民再次憂慮。KIWC全體理監事秉持配合中央疫情指揮中心政策，決定繼續停辦5月份慈善晚會，敬請見諒。

  全球疫情蔓延當下，面對防不勝防的病毒，妳我不能掉以輕心，這是一場作戰。為了妳我美好人生，敬請大家繼續宅在家，相信熬過黑暗時期，天亮曙光就在不遠前方。妳我防疫，繼續努力！

Dear KIWC sisters,

   It has been a while, what have you been doing to pass time when staying at home during this period of pandemic? We are very concerned about how coronavirus has caused impacts and harms around the globe. I think all of us have experienced a myriad of emotions. 

   Well goes the saying that plans can’t keep up with changes. In April, an influx of returnees from abroad and Tomb Sweeping long weekend tensed up the epidemic

prevention work, however, our nation has demonstrated a high degree of unity and wisdom to have fortunately sustained our health homeland.

  In accordance with the policy of CECC to avoid huge social gatherings, KIWC board members have decided to cancel the May Ball. Thank you for your understanding.

   The pandemic is still spreading around the world and no one is excluded from the battle. I believe we’ll overcome the hardship and see the light at end of the tunnel sooner or later. Let’s keep up the good work. Meanwhile, I wish you all a Happy Mother’s Day.
