落葉是樹的眼淚 Falling leaves are the tears of a tree,

哀悼年華的凋零 lamenting each fading year.

嫩芽是隔春樹的發憤圖強 Young shoots are her vigor for the new spring,

標記著擺脫寒冬的魔掌 signifying the rejuvenation from rigid winters.

而花，錯落的蓓蕾 The flowers, the scattering buds 

盈盈綻放在枝椏上 which are spreading over the twigs

是樹放肆的淺淺笑靨 are the shallow dimples as she beams with pride.

為什麼最自豪，果子是樹的表情？But why does the fruit represent the pride and joy she treasures most?

啊，你且去問你自豪的母親 O, you have to ask your proud mother

要經歷多少艱辛，不可言說 how many hardships, indescribable, she has been through

她才有這樣驕傲的心血結晶 before she enjoys the fruits of her laboring.
