Last Saturday, we took Ryan to Carrow's for brunch and got a free Snoopy ice cream. Ryan is turning on today (Monday). When he ate his first ice cream cone, I cleared my throat to give him his first birthday speech, "When you grow up, I hope you can be just like cockroaches and weeds."

"Huh??!!" His Dad couldn't believe his ears.

I continued, "It's best that you turn out like cockroaches and weeds that can live anywhere and survive on anything. And that's mama's wish for you."

Daddy said, "Do you want him to share in Day Care that he wants to turn out like cockroaches and weeds?"

I replied, "Yes baby!! That will make mama proud! :)"

Daddy gave me an evil look while Ryan kept swallowing his ice cream, ignoring everything else. I think he's got potential to make mama's wish come true.
