The end of the tunnel is in sight. Why ? Yesterday, I spotted the weekly advertisement that a low priced grocery chain store "Seller Brothers" here in Houston is selling vegetable oil (Corn, soy or Mozala) for $2.98 for 128 fl oz. I reached for the dictionary to check for sure that 128 fluid ounce is a gallon. I remember reading report that cooked oil can be used as diezel fuel in diezel engins. This implies that the cost of petroleum oil has risen enough to reach the cost of vegetable oil. Obviously, diezel fuel is not gasolene. But, there are cars powered by diezel engin. Isuzu and Macede Benz. So that I believe that the price of oil should not reach to the sky ? This is a significant fact, if you are in the investment business, i.e. stock market. There are report that Brazil is using a lot fuel made from corn. Also, last winter, lots houses in the NE USA, burned dried corn to heat the house. What do you think ?
