據Fortune消息，歐洲銀行監管機構歐洲銀行管理局（EBA）認爲立法者考慮制定泛歐盟規則時應加入對比特幣、以太坊等加密貨幣的規則，爲消費者提供更好的保護。其表示，“加密錢包和加密貨幣交易平台等服務並未被現有的歐盟金融服務法所涵蓋，雖然其可能受到某些國家法律的約束，但這些規則在整個集團中並不一致。

According to Cryptonews, Kaohsiung City, Taiwan will launch an official stable currency supported by local tourism bureaus and financial institutions, in response to the influx of tourists (especially South Korea). The Kaohsiung Stabilization Coin pilot project will be held on January 18th. Three tourist hotspots - Nanhua Market, Guanghua Market and Liuhe Night Market began trials. The Kaohsiung City Government stated that the pilot is based on blockchain technology and users can try the stable currency through the smartphone app.
