I have decided that when I have kids I want at least 2 kids.

It’s not because I am brave and want to have a big family. It just it is really nice to have a brother or sister.
I have a younger sister. She is about 7 years younger than me. We are nothing alike, personality, habits even looks. Someone once ask me if she was my step-sister. So, you will know how different we are.

When I was in Taiwan I was busy studying and she is too young so we rarely play together. When I came to New ZealandI was nearly 13 years old. She is only 6 years old.

So, next 3 years we only briefly see each other once every 6 months and talk to each other on the phone and may be occasional letter.

Then my whole family decided to immigrate to New ZealandI started really know and live with my sister. It is nice to know that you can talk to someone else in the same family but who is not your parents. However, it is not all fun and games. We have our share of fights and sometimes I think we hated each other.

However, time has passed. She has grown up to be a really nice person. If I ask her to keep a secret for me, she would. Obviously, I will do the same for her. The 7 years age gap doesn’t seem to be that big anymore. We now talk often and go out for lunch together.

I couldn’t imagine what my life will be without her. Even though, we are not perfect sister, but she will always be the best to me.
