Emperor's New Clothes

LL--cc

Once upon a time, there was a king who invested all of his power into demanding that two tailors made him gold robes. These men were tricksters(also known as con artists) who weren't weavlng any gold fabric for the king. As a result, when the king thought he was modeling a beautiful, invaluable clock, he was wearing something no monetary value. people gawked and shaked their heads at a leader who would walk around wearing no clothes. When the king realized (that) the tailors'work(作 品) didn't exist, he pubnished his subjects(臣民) by giving them a big tax hike.
