Yesterday afternoon when I was walking my granddaughter to a park, I found a delicate, two-storied apartment with a signboard posted at its front yard, saying "We speak woof." At first sight, I didnt know what it means. Not before long, I understood. Well, woof is one of few sound that dogs are able to make. If woof is a "spoken language" in a apartment, that means owning dogs is allowed in there. So "We speak woof" is a witty and humorous expression of pathetic fallacy. |
