In May this year, a major question-leak scandal broke out during the National Medical Entrance Examination in India. The education ministry soon abolished the examination and held another one. Still, the scandal has caused at least 21 promising young men to commit suicide, who were reluctant to accept the consequences. Please see the following report.
PS. A collective cheating happened at the Joint College Entrance Examination in Taiwan in the mid-60s. But it was not an institutional error. An unlawful group managed to mix the photos of candidates with those of substitute test-takers by means of multiple exposure, which made it hard to identify on the test permit. Those fake candidates were disqualified and were known in newspapers. FYI, at least I recognized two names on the list who were in the same company of summer ROTC training at Chenkung Hill.
