I wonder why I cant purchase an "assembled" BYD, not even a whole car, in Taiwan? Does Taiwan have a real car industry of its own brand? In fact, all "domestic" car industries are foreign makes: Toyota, Honda, Ford, and so on. Therefore, it has nothing to do with the excuse of protecting domestic business, because what difference does it make between assembling a BYD and a Toyota for the local car business? 

It is sheer prejudice in trade across the strait.
