Yesterday, I watched two NBA playoff games in the conference semi-finals: NYC at Boston and Denver at Oklahoma City. Both underdogs overcame a 20- and 15-point deficit in the third quarter, respectively, and came back from behind to "steal" a road win. A special note should be given to Aaron Gordon, the Dever forward who just made a historic dunk buzzer-beater in the first round against the LA Clippers. Today, he made a nearly buzzer-beater again with a pull-up three-pointer to give Denver a precious win. Until now, all three of four underdogs in the semi-final of two conferences won their first game of seven. Let's see if Golden State could do the same today. |
