From the title of the subject report from Bloomberg, you can imagine how panicked the DPP administration and those "pandits" would react, when Donald Trump said America did not want to act like an insurance company on the Taiwan issue. (Unless Taiwan is willing to pay a higher premium.)

PS. Maybe Trump is a "pragmatic" businessman handling diplomatic matters with other countries. But China has long claimed that the issue of Taiwan is a matter of sovereignty, not a business to deal with.
