Most of ordinary people of Taiwan would not care much about the remarkable achievements of China Mainland such as Wentian, Changzheng Rockets, Carrier Fujian, and so on.  Instead, they would care more about the Jap products like vehicles and air conditioners, as well as the American products like iPhone and iPad.  Most because of this, either Jap or America is the god in their mind.

Recently, two pieces of business news are shocking the world: BYD exceeds Tesla as world number one electrical car in annual production and in export; China can fully manufacture 14 nano chips all by herself and can also produce those of 7 nano without much ado, which are able to satisfy the need in most of semi-conduct products except the most streamlined cell phones. 

We can imagine that if someday that lopsided ECFA is abolished, and both sides of the strait conduct a fair trade, will Toyota disappear in Taiwan and be replaced by BYD and Geley.  Will the air-conditioner from 格力 or 美的 dominate the market of Taiwan, so as fridges from 海爾?  More important, by the Time will TSMC, the "pillar of state", will lose its market in Mainland.

Maybe not until that day comes, will people of Taiwan no longer be the puppies of Jap and America anymore.
