I sent my last posting to some of my former colleagues via LINE yesterday, telling them the remarkable achievements of China Mainland did.  (https://classic-blog.udn.com/kkuo0810/175806895)  Then I got a response that saying I am a little "prejudiced" against the performance of Taiwan, for example, I had never mentioned a girls high school of Taiwan winning five champions in a row in the world tournament of tug of war. 

Well, I replied to my colleague that an achievement of five consecutive champion in world tournament is just remarkable, even it is not a mainstream sport like track and field.  But what I didnt tell her the real reason I am "prejudiced". 

I hate to see the government and media of Taiwan usually hype up any person who gains achievement in any "international" events as "pride of Taiwan", "pillar of state", "national treasure", or other flattery terms, even it is just a bread contest.  It is so disgusting! 

PS I remember I told you in my previous writing that I have never seen China Mainland, or the US officially extolled their athletes or teams by using the similar expressions.
