This morning when I woke up, the first piece of news online popped into my eyes was that legendary NBA star Kobe Bryant was killed in a helicopter crash earlier at somewhere in LA, the place where he and his families living at, and the place where he used to be the franchise star of Los Angeles Lakers. I am not a fan to Kobe Bryant, partly because Lakers has never been my favorite team even when I worked there during mid 80s, partly because he got involved into a rape scandal once. But it is a shame that he is now in his heyday of life at 41 only, though not in the basketball court any longer. RIP, Kobe. PS You know I care much more about the pneunonia now started to be rampant in China Mainland: its status of contagion and the death toll it already claimed . Go China, you can beat any enemy, including this invisible one! |
