If you are a sports fan and not a China-hater, you may be interested in the following reportage regarding the story of this persistent swimmer and lovely young lady: Ye Shiwen.  When she was only 15 she became the world champ, and then when she was 16 she won two gold medals of women 200m and 400m individual medley in 2016 London Olympic.  But since then her performance has long stuck in low tide due to mental and growth problems.  (Is that a kind of "growing pain"?)  She even quitted regular trainning and entered into Tsinghua to study law.  Now she opted to suspend her schooling and return to the pool.  In the world championship just ended yesterday, she was back and won two silver medals in her familiar items of individual medley.  She is only 23 now, so we should have confidence to see her regain the pool predominance in coming Tokyo, 2020.

PS China acquired 16 gold medals as the number one in the FINA championship ended yesterday.  But 12 out of them were from diving, and only 4 from swimming.  China swimmers, I do believe you can do better!
