Retiredbum notes: The incident of arresting, releasing, and confining Ms Meng Wanzhou has caused an intense diplomatical ferment among US, Canada, and China over a month. There is no doubt about it that almost all American critics and press accused Huawei and China on a very one-sided picture of the issue. There were few critics or scholars gave unbiased comments on the incident, but Prefessor Jeffery Sachs was the one. Who is he? He is a professor in Economics of Columbia University and the first economist who brings up the theory of "Shock Therapy".
I found a piece of his commentary on Huawei incident, and I would like to share it with you guys. (Well, it is a concise, beautifully-wirtten English essay, too.)
