Subject two terms, meaning welcome/like and unwelcome/dislike, are frequently found in Chinese classical novels.  Now they are still commonly used in China Mainland, especially in internet articles, with almost the same original meaning.

Regretfully, the terms have been consigned to oblivion in Taiwan.  Take my advice, dear friends, if you want to improve your writing, you had better read Chinese classical novels as many as you can.
