Women Basketball World Cup ended last evening and US team won the championship three times in a row(total 9 times).  China ended up with 6th place, a not bad performance.

Breanna Stewart, the so-called MVP "reaper", once again got the MVP trophy of the tournament.  I have known her since she helped University of Connecticut(Uconn) win four consecutive titles of NCAA women basketball in four years.  Now she is a professional women basketball player for Seatle Storm in WNBA, and she also played for Shanghai Baosan Dahua twice during WNBA off seasons.

At 193cm and 71kg, she can play center or forward proficiently, possessing every skill needed on court: (jump)shooting, inclucing three-pointer, dashing in for lay-up, and rebounding, all can be done with incredible quickness. (She can also dunk the ball in show competition, though I have never seen her dunk in the games.) You may think she is a black female athlete.  No, she is a good-looking, perfectly-shaped caucasian lady of 24 years old.  There are relatively plenty women players in China who are taller and heavier than Stewart, but how come we are lacking the players like her?  Weaker constitution, I think.  After all, China is wanting excellent coachs, trainers, and better basketball concept and enviorment to help find players like Breanna Stewart.  More importantly, our girls should work much harder than their Caucasian or black counterparts in basics, so as to overcome the physical inferiority.

P.S. Please surf online to find more stories, photos, and videos about Breanna Stewart. (You may find something amazing in her photo album.)  FYI, she once responded to "Me Too" activity, a call for the prevention of sexual harassment.  She revealed that when in nine years old she was once a victim of that nasty crime herself.
